Annette Herzog was born near Potsdam in 1960. She studied English and Danish and worked as a translator for a long time. Since 2000 she has been a full-time author of Danish and German language books for children and young people, including the multi-award-winning graphic novel Pssst!. She lives in Copenhagen, enjoys traveling and has four grown-up children.
