Agenzia Letteraria Internazionale · ALI was founded in 1898 by Augusto Foà and was later run by Erich Linder and afterwards by his son Dennis Linder.

Agenzia Letteraria Internazionale · ALI represents important American, German and other European publishers and agents for Italian translation rights and Italian clients worldwide – authors, heirs and publishing houses, among others Leonardo Sciascia, Dino Buzzati, Vicenzo Consolo, Elsa Morante, Elio Vittorini and Lalla Romano.

Since 2015 it is part of The Italian Literary Agency.
